Love yourself...

For a while now I have been feeling like I am letting myself down by not eating right or exercising. I always have an excuse for why I can't and it's all a bunch of bull shit. Thankfully I have a loving husband who knows when I need a little push to get my off my ass!

So I started going to a yoga studio called Namaspa Yoga in Redmond and I absolutely love it! The people there are welcoming and very sweet. It's the type of studio that isn't full of yogi snobs who act like you shouldn't be there if you are new and not sure what a crow or a waterfall pose is. I have been to three different yoga studios including the one I am currently at and this is by far the best one mostly because they allow me to pause when I need to without making me feel bad about myself.

Yoga used to just be another way to work out for me, but the more I do it the more I am realizing that it is about being in tune with myself body and soul. It challenges me which I love, yet it also is the most relaxing thing I have every experienced. I can feel it starting to change my life for the better and it makes me so happy. I strongly suggest trying a beginner yoga class, especially if you have been playing with the idea of starting yoga.

One thing I will say for sure is that I have such a hard time practicing at home because I just can't keep focused. There is way too much going on and I always have something that I need to do. At the studio though I am completely focused and able to just listen to my body and help myself grow into my practice. I feel like I am in a wonderful place in my life right now and am the happiest that I have been in a while. I will keep you all updated as I continue to go through this wonderful journey.
